Material examined. MNHN 2003.3408 (adult female; SVL 94.8 mm), Tigapulan Mts., Province of Riau, elev. 210 m.

Taxonomic comments. Corresponds in morphology to the specimen described by Boulenger (1920). Morphometrical data show it to be very similar to the holotype (adult female; SVL 97 mm) from Sarawak ( Boulenger 1920).

Distribution on Sumatra. Species occurs all over Sumatra.

Biology. A few specimens were observed on the ground or on low branches along a stream in primary forest. This species is mostly active and males are calling at night. Observations in November.
