Type locality. Russia, Altai krai, Northeastern Altai, Tschultschi River.

New material. North Korea, North Pyongan Province, Hyangsan-gun, Myohyang Mts., swept at Hyangsan Stream, 500 m, N40°00’ E126°15’, 21.05.1985 (loc. Korea.930), leg. András Vojnits, Lajos Zombori: 1♀. Diagnosis. Male: Tergum IX deeply excavated posterio-medially, tergum X without knobs or spines; apex of sternum IX long. Epiproct sinuous, hook-shaped; cercus long, with a large basodorsal tooth, apex weakly pointed. Female: Sternum VII apically enlarged, with a wide, hemispherical membranous area posteriomedially; fused to medial sclerites of sternum VIII. Median sclerites on sternum VIII are small, partly hidden beneath the enlarged posterior part of sternum VII; their lateral half dark brown and pointed, medial half membranous. No additional sclerites on sternum VIII.

Distribution and ecology. This spring species has a wide range in temperate Asia from the Altai in the West, to the Kuril Isles in the East, and the Magadan areas in the North. The present data is its southernmost locality ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 31 – 33 ), and the first record outside Russia. New for the Korean Peninsula.
