Type material examined. PARATYPE: 1 J, ‘[ Morocco], Grand Atlas de Marakech, Tachdirt village, 9 juilet, 1923, [P. de Peyerimhoff lgt.]’ [yellow label, handwritten] / PARATYPE [red label, printed] / Malthinus peyerimhoffi Const., R. Constantin det. [white label, handwritten]’ ( RCSF).

Additional material examined. MOROCCO: Tizi-n-Test pass, 23.–28.vi.2004, J. Horák lgt., 1 J 5 ♀♀ ( NMPC).

Comments. The specimens from Tizi-n-Test slightly differ from the original illustrations ( CONSTANTIN 1979) in the distinctly emarginate inner margin of the basal portion of fused laterophyses. The aedeagus is figured in Figs. 6 , 21 .

Distribution. Southern Morocco.
