Comment. The original description of Paederus (Gnathopaederus) daozhenensis Li & Zhou, 2009 is based on two type specimens from “ China: Guizhou: Daozhen County, River Dasha ” ( Li & Zhou, 2009). The newly material allowed a more detailed study of the aedeagus and revealed its identity with the aedeagus of Paederus (Gnathopaederus) bursavacua Willers, 2001 . Based on the male and female sexual characters, particularly the distinctive morphology of the aedeagus, there is no doubt that P. daozhenensis Li & Zhou, 2009 and P. bursavacua Willers, 2001 are conspecific. Thus , the synonymy is proposed.
