Gasteruptiidae View in CoL currently includes two extant subfamilies, Hyptiogastrinae and Gasteruptiinae , and two extinct subfamilies, Hypselogastriinae and Kotujellitinae , with about 516 valid species in the world, a total of 41 extant species within genus Gasteruption from China are recognized as valid ( Jennings & Austin 2002; Jennings & Austin 2004; Macedo 2011; Zhao et al. 2012; Tan et al. 2016; Engel & Wang 2016; Li et al. 2018; Tan et al. 2021; Deans et al. 2024).
