Diagnosis. Disc of pronotum with straight anterior margin, rounded posterior margin, approximately V- shaped second transverse sulcus. Tegmen developed ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 a–d). Mirror irregularly pentagonal ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 a–d). Stridulatory file transversely “S”-shaped; pegs evenly arranged, and those pegs in distal part smaller than those in base ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 f–i). Male tenth abdominal tergum with two down-curved broad lateral lobes. Epiproct tongue-shaped, bent down from near base. Male cercus with an enlarged basal tooth near middle. Male subgenital plate slightly thick, smooth without depression.

Redescription. Tegmen usually with dark spots; hind wing shorter than tegmen, transparent, spotless. Male ninth abdominal tergum with a small concavity in middle of posterior margin.

Notes. Tegmen and hind wing of Italian specimens are approximately equal in length (Karabað 1961).
