Distribution outside Iran. Armenia, Iraq, Syria, Turkey (Kubáň 2006; Bellamy 2008a; Ali 2010). Note. A robber fly species, Stenopogon junceus (Wiedemann in Meigen, 1820) ( Diptera : Asilidiae) is the predator of C. bagdadensis ( Saghaei et al. 2010) .
