Summary of Psychodinae View in CoL fauna of Bolivia and Nicaragua
The subfamily Psychodinae is thus far represented in Nicaragua by 53 species ( Duckhouse 1973, Maes & KillickKendrick 1990, Collantes & Martinez-Ortega 1999, Quate & Brown 2004, Tkoč et al. 2017). The sum of non-biting moth flies of the same subfamily comprises only eight species in Bolivia: Alepia albicolare ( Enderlein, 1937) ; A. santacruz Ježek, Le Pont, Martinez & Mollinedo, 2011 ; A. scripta Enderlein, 1937 ; Chirolepia maculipennis Enderlein, 1937 ; Eurygarka freyrei Ježek, Le Pont, Martinez & Mollinedo, 2011 ; Lepidiella lanuginosa Enderlein, 1937 ; Tinearia boliviensis Ježek, Le Pont, Martinez & Mollinedo, 2011 and Tonnoira cavernicola Quate & Brown, 2004 ( Duckhouse 1973, Quate & Brown 2004, Ježek et al. 2011). The list of Psychodinae moth flies in Nicaragua increases to 54 species with the addition of Armillipora selvica Quate, 1996 , and to 9 species in Bolivia with A. suapiensis sp. nov.
