1. Vertex extensions notably elevated on two foliaceous branches. Posterior margin of pronotum with marked spinous extensions, being two to three times the length of the scape and pedicel.................................................... 2
- Vertex extensions reduced to a pair of tubercles. Posterior margin of pronotum presents non-spinous foliaceous extensions, presenting a length equal to that of the scape and pedicel together................................. P. magnoliae View in CoL n. sp.
2. Abdomen is spinose dorsally, the dorsal midline is slightly elevated............................... P. punana View in CoL n. comb.
