578. Triphleba Rondani, 1856: 136 View in CoL View at ENA . ORIGINALLY INCLUDED SPECIES: Triphleba hyemalis Rondani, 1856 . TYPE SPECIES: Triphleba hyemalis Rondani, 1856 [= Phora hyalinata Meigen, 1830 ], by original designation. CURRENT STATUS: Valid genus [ teste Disney (1991: 197) ]. FAMILY: PHORIDAE . REMARKS: There are two original spellings of this genus-group name in Rondani (1856): Triphleba (page

136) and Triphloeba (page 225). Acting as First Reviser, we select Triphleba as the correct original spelling, which relegates Triphloeba (q. v.) to unavailable name status.

[ Triphloeba ] Rondani, 1856: 225.

CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect original spelling of Triphleba Rondani, 1856 View in CoL [ teste View in CoL this work].

FAMILY: PHORIDAE .

[ Triptocera ] Rondani, 1868d: 576.

CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect subsequent spelling of Thryptocera Macquart, 1834 or subsequent usage of Triptocera Lioy, 1864 .

FAMILY: TACHINIDAE .

REMARKS: The earliest mention of Thryptocera Macquart, 1834 using the spelling “ Triptocera ” that we have found in this study is Triptocera Lioy (1864e: 1325) , n. syn., as an unjustified emendation made available by similar spelling changes in two or more names from “y” to “i” in the same work. Thryptocera Macquart, 1834 is currently treated as a junior synonym of Actia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 [ teste Herting & Dely-Draskovits (1993: 328) ].
