TYPE SPECIES: Harrisia rebaptizata Rondani, 1859 [= Tachina aenea Meigen, 1824 ], by original designation.
CURRENT STATUS: Junior synonym of Lydina Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 [ teste Herting & Dely-Draskovits (1993: 291) ].
FAMILY: TACHINIDAE .
REMARKS: Verrall in Scudder (1882: 310) listed the spelling Somatolia and this was cited as an emendation by Bezzi & Stein (1907: 222, “emend. Verr. ap. Scudd. 1882”), but criteria for making this name available as an emendation were not found to be fulfilled in Scudder (1882).

REMARKS: Name made available as an emendation by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “mya” to “mia” in the same work. Somomya Bertoloni, 1861 (as “ Somomya Rondani ”) is currently treated as a junior synonym of Calliphora Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 [ teste Schumann (1986: 16) ].
