Ceratopriomorphus bolivianus sp. nov.

Holotype. Male, ‘BOLIVIA’ without other data ( MNHN).

Diagnosis. C. bolivianus sp. nov. can be distinguished from other Ceratopriomorphus by the presence of yellow longitudinal stripes in humeral region of elytra and phallus considerably constricted medially.

Description. Whole body dark brown, except antennomeres 10 and 11 yellow and longitudinal humeral stripes in anterior 5/6 of elytra ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–3 ). Distance between eyes 1.5× longer than maximal eye diameter. Maxillary and labial palpi largely dark brown, only distal part of terminal palpomeres yellow, terminal palpomeres elongate. Antennomere 3 and 4 of equal length ( Fig. 7 View Figures 4-8 ). Pronotum ( Fig. 4 View Figures 4-8 ) 1.5× wider than long, anterior margin arcuate anteriorly, lateral margins strongly emarginate, posterior margin bisinuate, 1.5× longer than anterior margin. Elytra 3.5× longer than wide in humeral portion. Male genitalia ( Figs. 9–10 View FIGURES 9–14 ) with phallus constricted medially, parameres as long as 2/5 of phallus, phallobase as long as parameres. Body length: 5.0 mm, humeral width: 1.1 mm.

Remark. Holotype with left antennomere 11 missing.
