18. anisarthra View in CoL species-group
(5 species)
Diagnosis. Members of the anisarthra speciesgroup can be distinguished from other Sagola species-groups by the following combination of characters: body length 2.3–3.2 mm; antennomere 1 approximately 2 times longer than wide; ventral surface of head weakly convex, but not modified ( Fig. 45m View Fig ); anterior frontal fovea round and partially covered by frontal rostrum, posterior frontal fovea oval ( Fig. 45l View Fig ); hind wings well-developed; abdominal tergites IV–VI with discal carinae.
KEY TO SPECIES OF THE ANISARTHRA SPECIES- GROUP
The key is based on male specimens because most female specimens are indistinguishable based on external morphology.
