Distribution:— Eastern Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina.
Notes:— This is a species variable in flower colour and shape of the lip midlobe and keel. In our opinion C. succedanea is just a form of C. cardioglossa . See C. labrosa (Rchb.f.) Hook. f. regarding the record of C. succedanea from Myanmar.
