Material examined. The holotype male (specimen MNHN-ED-ED8397) was examined from photographs available online at https://science.mnhn.fr/institution/mnhn/collection/ed/item/ed8397?listIndex=5&listCount=10. The holotype is in fair condition, except head and thorax with mold.

Diagnosis. Postpedicel orange; parafacial setulose on upper part; haustellum long, about 2x length of head. Upper calypter dark brown. Abdomen yellow, without pruinosity and with a continuous and narrow dorsal brownish-black median vitta, uninterrupted from syntergite 1+2 to tergite 5. Tergite 5 brownish-black, but distal 1/6 dark yellow.

Distribution. Brazil (Bahia state).
