Material examined. Male holotype from Ecuador: Pichincha Province, 20 to 30 km of east-northeast of Alluriquin on the Chiriboga road, Berlese sample of moss and wet forest litter taken at an elevation of 1400m, June 19, 1975, S. Peck ( FMNH) . NOT EXAMINED.

Female: Unknown.

Natural History. Most specimens were collected between 1,888–2,225m and more abundant in pitfall trap from August to November.

Remark. Most specimens were collected by pitfall trap, the one specimen collected in the Dipluridae web may have been collected with the debris surrounding the web and therefore it is not possible to determine if it is a kleptoparasite,

Distribution. Ecuador: Cotopaxi and Pichincha provinces.
