Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Arabian Peninsula ( Bohart & Menke 1976 as Palarus spinolae de Saussure, 1854 ), Oman ( Guichard 1980 as P. spinolae ; Pulawski & Prentice 2008), Saudi Arabia (de Beaumont 1960, 1962 as P. spinolae ; Guichard 1988 as P. spinolae spinolae; Gadallah & Assery 2004b; Gadallah et al. 2013), United Arab Emirates ( Roche 1981 as P. spinolae ; Hamer 1986, 1988 both as P. s. spinolae; Guichard 1988 as P. s. spinolae; Gillett & Gillett 2005 as P. s. spinolae; Howarth & Gillett 2008 as P. s. spinolae; Pulawski & Prentice 2008; Schmid-Egger 2011).
