Material examined. BR, TO: Pedro Afonso municipality, Rio do Sono (-08.99590, -048.13934), 180 m, 11-12/ X/2018, light sheet, TYS Orlando and TK Krolow, 1 male GoogleMaps .
Measurements. Male (n=1) forewing length: 8.5 mm.
Remarks. The specimen was collected from the margin of a large river, surrounded by agricultural land and fragments of riparian forest. This species is commonly found in large rivers ( Righi-Cavallaro & Lecci 2010, Gonçalves et al. 2017 and Carvalho et al. 2020) and our record corroborates that. The specimen examined is lighter in color compared to the description in Froehlich (2008), lacking the characteristic brown color, however it is possible to observe the distinctive head color pattern of this species ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ). Additionally, the penial armature matches with the description and illustrations of Froehlich (2008). Furthermore, the forewing length falls in the range for this species, as mentioned in Menezes et al. (2020). This is a new record from Tocantins state, Brazil ( Table 1 View TABLE 1 ).
