Diagnosis (based on Kim 2004). Dorsal shield with minute setae, except margins with enlarged, flattened setae. Pseudosternogynum present, free from or fused with sternal shield. Mesogynal shield present, sometimes fused to ventral shield. Paired latigynal shields present. Palp genu with five or six setae. Corniculi setiform or multi-tined. Chelicerae with filamentous excrescence on moveable digit, membranous or fimbriate excrescences on fixed digit.
