Synonyms: Diversibipalium sp. Nagasaki-5 Yamamoto et al., 2001

Material: Holotype, RMNH.VER.20258.a (field number KSL2402), Ebira-chō , Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Kyūshū, Japan. 24th November 2004, coll. Mr. Kiyohiko Yamamoto, five parts comprising a total of 391 slides: sagittal sections (8 μm) of the most anterior part of the body including the head on 93 slides; sagittal sections (8 μm) of a following portion of the body on 88 slides; transverse sections (8 μm) of part of the pharynx on 39 slides; sagittal sections (9 μm) including the mouth on 42 slides; sagittal sections (8 μm) containing the copulatory apparatus on 129 slides. The sixth portion was returned to alcohol 70%. A small prepharyngeal piece (0.2–0.5 cm) was used for molecular analyses.
