Material examined. Holotype. BRAZIL: Rio Grande do Sul, Cristal  , Camaquã  river, riparian forest, 31 °01’01.7”S; 51 ° 56 ’42.0”W, 06.VIII. 2008, E.N.L. Rodrigues & P.E.S. Rodrigues leg., 1 M (MCN 52003). Paratype. BRAZIL: same data as the holotype, 1 F (MCN 52004). Paratype. BRAZIL: same data as the holotype, 1 F ( IBSPAbout IBSP 166158).

Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.

Diagnosis. The male of Thymoites cristal  new species resembles that of Thymoites tabuleiro  new species in the shape of the carapace and the palp ( Figs. 26–28 View Figure ), but differs in the conductor longer ( Fig. 26 View Figure ), trajectory of the sperm duct in the tegulum ( Fig. 26 View Figure ) and embolus developed. The female of Thymoites cristal  new species is close to T. tabuleiro  by the not coiled copulatory duct ( Figs. 29, 30 View Figure ), but differs from it in the spermathecae round and copulatory duct short and straight ( Figs. 29, 30 View Figure ).
