Material examined. DRC, Kona on Itimbiri river, sample No 30038, 02 °02.004’N, 22°47.205’E, sweeping, 13.v.2010, leg. P. Grootaert (1♂ on slide, IRSNB); DRC, Yangambi forest, primeval mixed forest, sample No 33021, 30.v.2013, leg. P. Grootaert (1♂ on slide, IRSNB).

Remarks. The species was described from the Usambra Mountains in Tanzania ( Søli 1993) and subsequently recorded from Ghana and Uganda ( Hippa & Kurina 2012).
