Type locality: Tunisia, Aïn-Draham, near Khrumir.
Distribution: North Africa ( Algeria, Tunisia) ( Galvagni 2001). Biogeographic zones: Shoreline, Tellian Atlas.
Bioclimatic zones: Humid, subhumid.
Records in Algeria: Cap-Matifou [36°48'N 3°13'E]; Maison Carrée [El Harrach] [36°43'N 3°8'E] ( Chopard 1943). Tonga Lake [36°51'N 8°29'E] ( Tellailia 1990). The material mentioned by Chopard (1943) could belong to R. galitana Uvarov, 1942 , a species known from Tunisia only ( Galvagni 2001, material not reexamined).
