Gryllomorpha uclensis Pantel, 1890: 364 .

Type locality: Spain, Uclès.

Distribution: Iberian Peninsula, South of France, Italy and Switzerland ( Gorochov and Llorente 2001). This species was considered uncertain in North Africa ( Gorochov and Llorente 2001), but its presence has been confirmed since (cf. infra).

Biogeographic zones: Shoreline, Tellian Atlas.

Bioclimatic zones: Humid, subhumid.

Records in Algeria: Hoggar ( Chopard 1929). Sidi Ferruch [Sidi Fredj] [36°46'N 2°51'E] ( Chopard 1943). Bouzeguène [36°36'N 4°26'E] ( Brahmi 2001, 2005). Tafoughalt [36°37'N 3°52'E] (Mohamed Sahnoun pers. obs.).
