Diagnosis. Males of this species can easily be distinguished from other Hahnia species by the relatively short RTA with an abruptly thin tip, the presence of a tibial process extending dorsally, and the long cymbial furrow as long as the cymbium ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 B–C, 9H–I, 11B–C). Females can be distinguished by the strongly sclerotized posterior margin of the copulatory openings and the strongly curved copulatory ducts ( Figs 10 View FIGURE 10 D–G, 11D–E).

Description. Male palp ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 A–C, 9G–I, 11A–C) with a small, thin and hooked patellar apophysis, tibia with a relatively short RTA, with tip abruptly thin, and a large process extending dorsally. Embolus originating proximally on retrolateral margin of tegulum, curved along the bulb, its tip staying in the cymbial furrow near the embolic base. Median apophysis membranous, almost transparent. Cymbial furrow as long as cymbium. Epigyne ( Figs 10 View FIGURE 10 D–G, 11D–E) with a pair of copulatory openings anteriorly, with posterior margin strongly sclerotized, like two triangles. Copulatory ducts thin and long, strongly coiled. Subspermathecae small, anteriorly located. Spermathecae elliptic, more than twice as large as subspermathecae.

Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan, Hong Kong, Taiwan); Vietnam.

Remark. The type material of H. zhejiangensis (female holotype from Sanmen City, Zhejiang Province of China) is unavailable for this research, but the strongly sclerotized copulatory openings of epigyne and the particular tibial apophysis of male palp are enough to confirm this species and separated it from other Hahnia species.
