Ophion semipullatus Kokujev, 1909 View in CoL
Figs 16C‒E View FIGURE 16
Ophion semipullatus Kokujev, 1909: 246‒247 View in CoL . Type ♀ collected in Uzbekistan, lost.
Material examined: IRAN: 1♀, Hormozgan Province, Geno Mt. 1550 m. a. s., 18 Apr. 1994, Parch / Ebra. leg. ( HMIM) ; 1♀, Bakhtiari, Zarbkuh , 2400 m. a. s., 16 Aug. 1976, Bruomand / Pazuki leg. ( HMIM) ; 1♀, Bakhtiari / Ardol, Gandaman , kuhe-kallar, 2750 m. a. s., 13‒14 Jul. 1982, Bruomand / Pazuki leg. ( HMIM) .
Remarks: A very distinct large and dark brownish species ( Figs 16C, E View FIGURE 16 ) described from Buchara in present day Uzbekistan. The type is lost and the interpretation presented here is based on the original description and a series of females housed in the Meyer collection in ZIN. The dates on the labels indicate that the species occurs in two generations in Iran. The antennae has about 60 flagellomeres, but are noticeably short due to the very stout flagellomeres. New record for Iran.
