Material examined: IRAN: Holotype ♀, Makran südöstl. Nahu , 1300m 19 to 26 Mar. 1954 Richter & Schäuffele leg. ( SMNS); 2♀♀, Fars Province, Schiraz, Sivand, 10 km North of Sivan, 15 May 1974, 1700 m. a. s., Abai / Paz. leg. ( HMIM); 10♀♀, 2♂♂, Fars Province, Sarvestan env., 7–8 May 2007, A. Klimenko leg. ( MR).

Remarks: Erroneously reported as E. sibiricus in Amiri et al. (2016). Eremotylus sibiricus is only known from the Northeastern Palaearctic (Horstmann, 1981). Eremotylus intermedius is easily distinguished from other Eremotylus species in the Western Palaearctic by the dark reddish and partly infuscate body ( Fig. 24A, E ).
