Type: Pakistan: Baluchistan: E-4 Ahmedwal near Nushki , 11 Oct. 1934, V. P . Dutta 5 (holotype: RAW) .
Homotypic synonym: Cleome heratensis Bunge & Bienert ex Boissier subsp. pakistanica Jafri (1973: 25) .
Note: The original description places the type at RAW, but correspondence with Dr. Amir Sultan and Uzma Abdul Salam suggests the type material is now housed at KUH, but correspondence has not yet confirmed its presence there .
Geographic distribution: Pakistan.
