Diagnosis. Wings hyaline, central sclerite of the hypandrium with two short, blunt ended posterior projections. External parameres rounded distally, with a row of short, sclerotized denticles along outer border; mesal endophallic sclerite large, H-shaped ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ).

Color (in 80% ethanol). Body pale brown. Compound eyes brown ochre; ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Head pale brown; pattern ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ), brown large spots between the compound eyes; front with a dark brown stripe from each compound eye to epistomal sulcus, a brown spot between ocellar group and apex of epistomal sulcus; postclypeus with a brown V-shaped area; anteclypeus and labrum pale brown; genae and front part of postgenae dark brown; antennae pale brown, flagellomeres more pigmented than scape and pedicel; maxillary palps pale brown. Thorax pale brown, tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax dark brown. Coxae, trochanters and femora pale cream, tibiae and tarsi pale brown. Abdomen pale brown, with pale brown ochre subcuticular spots on tergites. Hypandrium pale brown, clunium, paraprocts and epiproct pale brown, with brown ochre subcuticular spots. Phallosome dark brown.

Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ): H/MxW: 1.66; compound eyes: H/D: 2.17, IO/MxW: 0.45, MxW/IO: 3.76. Vertex slightly below the level of the upper border of the compound eyes. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with five denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.29; Mx4/Mx3: 3.31. Forewings ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ): L/W: 2.52, pterostigma: lp/wp: 5.36; areola postica elongate, la/ha: 2.66. Hindwings ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ): l/w: 2.36. Phallosome ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ) V-shaped anteriorly, side struts slender; external parameres broad, membranous, inner border close to the elongate, denticulate posterior pair of endophallic sclerites and curved outwards; anterior pair with inner arms slender, acuminate and strongly sclerotized, outer arms stout and curved, joined proximally to inner arms; mesal pair fused, H-shaped, with anterior arms slender, and posterior arms stout, distally rounded ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ). Paraprocts broad, posteriorly rounded; sensory fields with 28 trichobothria on basal rosettes, setae as illustrated ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ). Epiproct broad, slightly concave anteriorly, rounded posteriorly, with setae as illustrated ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ).

Material studied. Holotype male. COLOMBIA. Valle del Cauca. Buenaventura, Alto Anchicayá, Murrapal , 03°33’'04.9’’ N: 76°53’25.5’’ W, 661 m, 20–21.II.2012, MUSENUV slide code 26176. J. Mendivil. Led light trap on forest canopy.

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the locality of Anchicayá, where the holotype was found.
