DISTRIBUTION: NA.

LITERATURE RECORDS: Sars 1853; Castelli et al. 2008. REMARKS: The species was found only once in the NA by Sars (1853) and its presence in the Adriatic Sea was considered to be dubious by Castelli et al. (2008).
