Comments

This species was described from Fars Province on the basis of two females and one juvenile specimen, and since then additional material has not been found . While describing this new species, Marusik and Fet (2009) doubted whether it really belongs to Hersiliola because of short and wide insemination ducts and a lack of windows . The description of B . kermanensis sp. nov. proved that H. foordi was misplaced in the genus and should be transferred into Bastanius .
