Host. Young larva of M. raddei (new record).

Remarks. Doryctes petiolatus Shestakov belongs to genus Doryctes Haliday , which is a widely distributed genus, comprising 83 known species until now (Yu et al. 2012). Thirteen species are distributed in China ( Belokobylskij et al. 2012). Doryctes (Doryctes) petiolatus Shestakov is distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Henan and Zhejiang, but its host is previously unknown. Here we first discovered that D. petiolatus is a solitary or gregarious ectoparasitoid of M. raddei . Its cocoons ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9 – 14 ) are oblong with exochite white and opaque. In Liaoning Province, Northeast China, adult emerging is from end of June to early July.

Distribution. China; Kazakhstan; Korea; Russia.
