Martarega brasiliensis View in CoL is a common species in Brazil. It has been found at several localities except the central-western political region (Figure 13A). Male specimens of M. brasiliensis View in CoL possess a narrow longitudinal median stripe on hemelytra ( Figure 12A View Figures 9–12 ), as well as a spine just on the basal half of forefemora at inner margin (in brachypterous and macropterous forms), similar to aforementioned M. uruguayensis View in CoL ( Figure 10C View Figures 9–12 ). Martarega brasiliensis View in CoL can be easily recognized by (1) their male mesotrochanters with thin and yellowish setae at ventral surface ( Figure 12C View Figures 9–12 ), and (2) the distinctive female hemelytral stripes ( Figure 12B View Figures 9–12 ).
