Remark (Bate et al. herein): Krömmelbein & Weber (1971, p. 50) incorrectly give Brady (1868) as the date of publication. In fact the journal The Intellectual Observer volume 12 was issued in six monthly parts and the genus Limnocythere was published in part 2 for September, 1867.
