1971 Theriosynoecum papillaris americanum n. ssp. —Krömmelbein & Weber, p. 53–54, pl. 10, fig. 44.

Diagnosis: A subspecies of papillaris with the following significant divergences: on average, somewhat largergrowing (approximately 1.1mm in length). Posterior margin and ventral margin distinctly convex. The central ventral “node” extended in a rib-shape, the front one of the upper nodes strongly protruding.

Holotype: Carapace, BfB 7821.

Paratypes: Not deposited.

Dimensions: Holotype, length 1.14mm, height 0.71mm, width 0.61mm.
