1971 Cypridea (Sebastianites?) matinversa n. sp.—Krömmelbein & Weber, p. 24–25, pl. 4, fig. 14.

Diagnosis: A species of Cypridea (Sebastianites?) from the group around mataensis Krömmelbein, 1962 with the following peculiarities: largely corresponding to mataensis but right valve larger than left valve, posterior margin more pointed, rostral region more clearly developed (rostrum somewhat longer, rostral groove a bit deeper, rostral sulcus admittedly quite short but more deeply indented). Pore dimples on the whole valve surface. Carapace in lateral view slimmer, more distinctly tapering towards the anterior.

Holotype: Carapace, BfB 7785.

Paratypes: Not deposited.

Dimensions: Holotype, length 1.05mm, height 0.69mm, width 0.51mm.
