Diagnosis: A large Paracypridea species. In outline broadly corresponding to elegans elegans . Distinguished by a small roundish projection on the upper section of the posterior margin of the smaller left valve, which overlaps the right valve.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 4816.

Paratypes: Not mentioned.

Dimensions: Holotype, length 1.22mm, height 0.73mm, width 0.54mm.
