Paracypridea brasiliensis Krömmelbein, 1961

1961 Paracypridea brasiliensis n. sp. —Krömmelbein, p. 362, 373, pl. 5, figs 38–40.

Diagnosis: A medium-sized Paracypridea species with the following peculiarities: carapace stocky; in lateral view a rounded trapezoid shape. On both valves, at the posterior in the region of the valve margin, a node-shaped, rather blunt spine-shaped thickening, a little below the middle-line.

Dimensions: Holotype, Carapace, SMF Xe 3676, length 1.01mm, height 0.70mm.

Dimensions: Paratype, Carapace, length 0.94mm, height 0.65mm, width 0.51mm.

Paratypes: 10 carapaces under SMF Xe 3677 .
