Cypridea obovata (Swain) rhomboidalis Wicher, 1959

Diagnosis: A subspecies of the inverse Cypridea obovata , whose postero-ventral margin is rather flattened.

Holotype: Carapace, T.-K.-Nr. 3169.

Dimensions: (greatest) length 2.34mm, height 0.86mm, width 1.14mm.

Remarks (Bate et al. herein): Wicher’s figure, a drawing x30, shows dimensions larger than those he published (above), as is the case with some other species noted below.
