Maruina (Maruina) Hogue

Maruina Hogue, 1973: 1 . Type species: Maruina pilosella Müller , by subsequent designation ( Enderlein, 1936); Bravo, 2004: 1 (Diagnosis).

Diagnosis. Combination of the following characters: distance between eyes equivalent to 7 facet diameters or more ( Figs. 24 , 34 ); wing with break on base of C, on the level of base of R 1 ( Figs. 26 , 35 ); R 2 united to R 4 and R 5, R 3 separated, M 1 united to M 3 ( Figs. 26 , 35 ); female hypogynium with internal lateral bristles projecting medially from small and distinct lateral lobulae ( Figs. 27–28 ).

Distribution in Brazil, by states. Argentina, Brazil ( Fig. 23 ), Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Saint Vincent, Tobago, and United States of America.
