Maruina spinosa Müller, 1895: 480 View in CoL .
Remarks. Female briefly and poorly described by Müller (1895) but type material is lost. Müller has only provided illustrations of 6 th and 7 th ventral suctorial discs of a larva, respiratory horn of a pupa, tip of female wing, anterior view of adult female head and dorsal view of the tip of female abdomen. These characters may be insufficient to allow future researchers to undoubtly identify new material of this species.
Type locality: probably Santa Catarina ( Hogue 1973) .
