Diagnosis. See generic diagnosis.

Description. Male ( Thailand, CAS 9025942). Coloration: carapace brown with cephalic area, chelicerae, labium, endites and first 1/3 of the sternum dark brown. Abdomen pale yellow. Femur I darker than the remaining articles and legs, which are yellowish brown. Total length: 7.6. Carapace: 4.1 long; 2.8 wide, 1.32 high. Abdomen: 3.5 long, 3.0 wide. Clypeus: 0.31 high. Eye diameter and interdistances: AME 0.12, ALE 0.18, PME 0.14, PLE 0.14; AME-AME 0.23, AME-ALE 0.17, ALE-PLE 0.1, PME-PLE 0.31, PME-PME 0.21, AME-PME 0.18. Chilum: undivided, smaller than outer border of AME and without setae. Chelicerae 1.68 long, with a promarginal tooth between two denticles and with two retromarginal denticles. Leg measurements: I: femur 3.65/ patella 1.55/ tibia 3.65/ metatarsus 3.5/ tarsus 1.55/ total 13.9; II: 3.55/ 1.55/ 3.25/ 3.2/ 1.4/ 12.95; III: 3.2/ 1.35/ 2.3/ 2.6/ 1.45/ 10.9; IV: 3.3/ 1.45/ 3.15/ 3.25/ 1.25/ 12.4. Leg formula: 1243. Leg spination: femur I p0-1-5sa; II p0-1-3sa; III 1 sa; tibia I v1 m-2p-1p-1r-1p-1p-2-2-2-1p; p 0-1d-1vsa or 1-1-0-1-0-1; r 1-1-1-0-0-1-0-0-1-0; II p 1-1-0-1-1; v1-2 -1m-2-1m-2-2-2-2- 1m or 1p-2-2-1m-1m-2-1m-2- 1m-2-2, r 1-1-0-1; III p 1-0-1, v 2-2, r 1-0-1; IV p 0-0-1-1, r 0-1-0-1 or 0-1-0-1-1, v 1-1 -0-1 or 1-1-0-2; Metatarsus III v 2-2 -1-2- 1m, r 2-1-1-1; p 0-1-0-0-1, d 2ap; IV: v 2-1 -2-2-1 or 2-2-2-2-2, p 0-1-0-1 or 0-1-0-1- 2, r 2 ap. Tarsal organ smooth and single metatarsal trichobothrium unique, partially smooth and partially striate as in Goeldia ( Griswold et al., 2005: 255; fig. 154H) and Titanoeca ( Griswold et al., 2005: 255; fig. 154I). Procurved setae on tibia and metatarsus I and II ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 8 – 9 ). Palp: prolateral face of femur with stridulatory files and medially dentate ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 5 ). Stridulatory files of femur distally with striation and proximally granulated ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1 – 5 ). Patellar apophysis anteriorly projected and conical ( Figs. 1, 2 View FIGURES 1 – 5 ). Eye diameter and interdistances: AME 0.13, ALE 0.17, PME 0.14, PLE 0.15; AME-AME 0.28, AME-ALE 0.2, ALE-PLE 0.12, PME-PLE 0.3, PME-PME 0.22, AME-PME 0.16. Chilum as in male. Atrium partially covered by membranous tissue and inner border with a long rim, near the copulatory openings ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 6 – 7 ). Copulatory ducts with enlarged bases.

Variation. Length (7 Ƥ): total: 5.8–11.9; carapace: 2.8–5.2; femur I: 2.35–4.15.

Natural history. According to the labels the spiders were caught on scrubby vegetation, over stones and near rivers in the open areas during daylight. Some specimens were caught inside a cave.
