Material examined. 1 male ( CAU), China: Guangdong Province, Shaoguan City, Chebaling National Nature Reserve, Xiba , N 24°43’48”, E 114°15’36’’, 360 m, 2016.V.1, light trap, Luo, Liu, Xun & Zhao .

Distribution. China: Guangdong, Guizhou and Shaanxi, widespread in southern and central China ( Fig. 15 ). The exact habitat in Guangdong is unknown.

Remarks. The single male specimen of Neoperla maolanensis from Chebaling National Nature Reserve is a new record for Guangdong, agreeing well with the original description (see figs. 1 & 2, Yang & Yang 1993). We present herein the detailed illustrations for a better recognition of this species.
