Material examined: BBB 2016: St. 12; St. 13; St. 23 (MACN-In: 43446, 43447, 43448, 43449, 43450).

Distribution: Jäderholm (1905) reported this species in Robertson Island, Antarctic sector, 400 m depth as Sertularia stolonifera . This is the first record in the Argentinean continental shelf including MPA Namuncurá I.

Remarks: We found abundant unfertile colonies detached from substratum.
