Material examined: BBB 2016: St. 4; St. 34; St. 39. GARCÍA 2015: St. 4; St. 5, St. 6 (MACN-In: 43477).

Distribution: circumpolar distribution in subtropical and temperate waters ( Vervoort 1972). This species was frequently reported in the southwestern Atlantic Ocean. This is the first record of this species in MPA Namuncurá I.

Remarks: Unfertile colonies growing on plumularids hydroids were found.
