Key to the known species of the genus Teremys Mason

1 Fifth metasomal tergum heavily sculptured longitudinally by lineate striae, and also as fully sclerotized as preceding terga (Fig 1D & 1E); propodeum not exhibiting extensive rugose sculpturing, but areola well defined (Fig. 1F); rugulose sculpturing present on distal 1/2 of metapleuron ..... Teremys hanniae Valerio & Whitfield n. sp.

­ Fifth metasomal tergum neither heavily sclerotized or sculptured (Fig. 2G); first to fourth metasomal terga exhibiting strongly rugose sculpturing (Fig. 2G); propodeum largely covered by ruguse sculpturing, and areaola not well defined by carinae anteriorly (Fig. 2H); distal 1/2 of metapleuron with weak punctate sculpturing on upper area, remainder nitid (Fig 2F) .....................................
