Alcis decussata ( Moore, 1868) View in CoL
( Figs 7 View FIGURES 1–12 , 16, 24)
Cleora decussata Moore, 1868: 628 View in CoL , pl. 33, fig. 4. Syntypes ♂, ♀, [ India]: Darjeeling .
Alcis decussata View in CoL : Fletcher, 1967: 115.
Material examined. Xizang ( XAAHU): 2♂, Nyingchi, Mêdog 80k, 2118 m, 25.vii.2015, leg. Pan Zhaohui.
Diagnosis. On the wing pattern, A. decussata resembles Alcis hodeberti Herbulot, 1987 ( holotype picture examined by Hongxiang Han) for the white middle area on the forewing. But the medial line is continuous in A. hodeberti and discontinuous in decussata . In the male genitalia, A. decussata is distinctive by the combination of the following characters: the cucullus is very narrow, extending beyond valva; the ampulla is located much basally, slender and bent upwards; the juxta is divided totally, with distal half very slender and pointed.
Distribution. China ( Yunnan, Xizang), Japan, India, Nepal, Thailand.
