Holotype male (slide Geom:11213HT-JDH, Figs 6–7 View FIGURES 6–8 ), India, Khasis, non-type female (slide Geom:11263JDH, Fig. 8 View FIGURES 6–8 ) (NHM). Originally described as a subspecies of Z. xylinata (see Prout 1958). Status changed by Holloway (1982).

Geographical range. India: Khasi Hills (N.E. Himalaya) ( Holloway 1997).
