Current status: Triatoma lecticularia ( Stål, 1859: 107) ; synonymized by Lent & Wygodzinsky (1979: 250, 253).

HOLOTYPE female ( Figs. 52–54 ) with labels ( Fig. 55 ): “Type” [red, pr] // “ Texas Friedr.” [green, hw] // “ Triatoma occulta / A. Neiva. ” [hw] // “2921” [pr]

Remarks. Neiva (1911c: 441) indicated that the holotype bore a label stating “ discipennis —Stal—Texas— Friedrich.”; however, the first two elements are not present on any label still affixed to the holotype.
