Type material. Holotype: male, Senmuzha , Tibet, 25.v.2018, leg. Yongqiang Xu & Tianpeng Chen. Paratype: 1 male, Lexiang, 24.v.2018, leg. Yongqiang Xu & Tianpeng Chen.

Diagnosis. Externally, the new species resembles Nola hani László, Ronkay & Ronkay, 2014 and Nola shipherwui László, Ronkay & Ronkay, 2014 , but their main differences can be found in the coloration and pattern of the forewings and the configurations of the male genitalia. On the forewings, the new species has a grayish background color, a feeble and grayish brown antemedial and postmedial lines and a bigger and grayish brown shadow below cell; N. hani has a pale blackish brown background color, a fine and black antemedial and postmedial lines and a smaller and blackish brown shadow below cell; compared with the former two species, N. shipherwui has a distinct black stripe on the costal margin but does not have a shadow below cell. In the male genitalia, the new species has a shorter dorsal lobe of the valva which is arcuate apically, a shorter ventral lobe of the valva, a longer and V-shaped saccus and a longer and hook-shaped carinal process on the aedeagus; N. hani has a longer dorsal valval lobe which is protruding apically, a longer and thinner ventral lobe of the valva, a V-shaped saccus and a shorter and hook-shaped carinal process on the aedeagus. compared with the first two species, N. shipherwui has a curved harpe and a similarly U-shaped of saccus.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–6 ). Wingspan 20–21 mm, forewing length 9–10 mm. Head and collar grayish; antenna brown, bipectinate in male; labial palpi grayish white. Thorax brown with grayish hairs. Abdomen pale brown. Forewing ground color grayish, postmedial area blackish brown at the latter part; costal margin with a grayish brown stripe; basal line poorly visible; antemedial line grayish brown, arcuate; medial line poorly visible; postmedial line grayish brown, sinuous; subterminal line grayish brown, undulate; terminal line grayish brown; cilia pale grayish brown. Hindwing ground color pale grayish; discal spot grayish; cilia pale grayish.

Male genitalia. ( Figs 2 & 3 View FIGURES 1–6 ). Uncus absent; tegumen moderate size; dorsal lobe of valva relatively short and rounded apically, costal margin slightly sclerotized; ventral lobe of valva relatively short, with a small spine at apex, ventral margin sclerotized; harpe long and triangular, approximately 1/4 as long as tegumen; sacculus relatively long and elliptic; saccus long and V-shaped. Aedeagus relatively short, with a long and curved carina process apically; vesica without cornuti.

Female. Unknown.

Distribution. China (Tibet: Cona County, Lexiang).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type-locality of the new species.
